review
Having established itself in Brighton for over a year now, VICE! has continued to grow into one of Brighton’s most diverse and entertaining softcore fetish nights.
VICE! invites you to indulge in your kinky side alongside top performances from those on the fetish circuit. Now at its new venue – The Club (above Charles St) – VICE! has proved its popularity with a larger venue and by taking on yet more renowned performers.
Although initially being sceptical about the night being held at a gay venue (the night is not primarily a gay night – anyone is welcome), the atmosphere within the club was stellar and as usual, most welcoming.
The music, as always, was nothing short of perfection with a mixture of hard house, techno and some super dirty electro played by King K (Kinky Dangerous), Superfast Oz (Banging Tunes) and the magical crowd pleaser that is resident DJ Tina Hart.
With the seating area partially secluded as a kinky area, you were free to satisfy those saucy pleasures with Mistress Kimy as the voyeuristic eyes of others observed. Those feeling especially exhibitionist could volunteer to perform their own crowd pleasing shows on the central podium.
The headlining performer – the wonder that is Lucifire and her partner Tusk – topped the night off with their Bloody Roses performance. Renowned for her fire-breathing, glass-walking and various other stunts, Lucifire has worked closely with Torture Garden and various other well known fetish and alternative nights. It was a pleasure to have her performing at our own VICE!
Her Bloody Roses firstly consisted of numerous piercings through her arms – each piercing holding a birthday candle – before being lit, and then blown out by resident DJ Tina Hart for her birthday. Certainly an alternative way of making a birthday wish, and most definitely not for the feint hearted.
Dressed in a spectacular wedding dress and corset combination (although not for very long), we were then treated to a filthy burlesque strip show to some 1940s classics; Champagne pouring down bare skin, blood roses and feather fans. Truly a sight to behold.
Throughout the night, WE3, angle grinder extraordinaire provided us with ecstatic visual stimulation (and a couple of burns – note to self: keep your distance from flying sparks). What more could you want from a local night at just £15 on the door?
