Crusaid's Walk for Life is a 10km sponsored walk to raise money for people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS. Done at a very leisurely pace, it is also a great sightseeing trip that includes London's favourite landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the London Eye.
At Hyde Park, Graham Norton started proceedings with a blast of his big horn and we were off! Blessed with gorgeous weather it turned into a lovely day out and it was all for a fantastic cause. Plus we managed to do it with only two pit stops at pubs... and then it was straight to Soho at the end!
Last year around 3,000 people of all ages and walks of life joined in and this year was no different. In 2005 the Walk raised £395,000 and I'm sure this year wasn't far off beating that.
