Pride 2006 : Women's Performance Tent...
review
Having never graced the Pride Women's Tent before at pride I was overwhelmed by the standard of music and the support which meant the tent was constantly overflowing.
Nicky Mitchell kicked off the proceedings followed by the emerging talent of Kit Worrall. I don?t think an acoustic performance at Pride has ever heard such a roar when Kit emerged on stage and she certainly gave a set to be proud of.
As the day continued the musical standard stayed steady and whenever I visited the tent it was still packed. Hanna and The Jaedees?gave a blinding show, including brave cross-dressing band members, and performed their last ever gig to gracious applause.
Overall the tent was an outstanding success and a perfect addition to Pride.
