review

The lovely people at Wild Fruit kept the Pride vibe going by offering us free entry into Monkey this week (...for those of us clever enough to print out the flyer on REALBrighton.com!) How kind of them!

The club was decked out better than I have ever seen it before with red sheets, red lighting and the odd monkey face and chandelier here and there.

The tattoo theme was fairly thinly adopted, although the guys and girls who were showing off a bit of skin had some impressively large and detailed body art - often accompanied with some interesting surface peircings, ouch!

From what I remember the drinks were as cheap as ever so locals and out-of-towners alike were getting rather jolly towards the end of the evening.

A really good night that just kept going, even as the the people who had started drinking a little too early spilt out onto the grass for a little rest before heading home...

See you next week!
