Fresher's Queer Tour 2006...
review
Note to self – do not get as drunk as on previous pub crawls.
Sitting here writing this it is quite apparent that the reminder above was totally ignored. As always there was a great turn out, with LGBrighTon and Sussex Uni LGBTs guiding the eager freshers to Charles Street bar, Vavoom, The Candy Bar, V2, The Marlborough and R-Bar, before culminating in an amazing night at Charles Street Club.
The crawl seems to be getting better and better every year this year has to be the best yet! Thanks to the LGBT for organising such a wicked night out – and welcome to all the new students... you’re gonna have a ball!

Charles Street Club has been serving up a huge dollop of different club nights since it hit the Brighton Club Scene over five years ago in it's former guise as Pool and then Envy. From those cheeky drinks promo nights where many a memory has faltered, to big name clubs through to innovative in-house clubbing, there has been something to tempt all tastes in revelry. about Vavoom Video Bar

Vavoom has a modern, stylish interior but still manages to provide a warm and cosy feel. They’ve managed to squeeze in an incredible amount to utilize every inch of floor space, and on sunny days they open up the large front window to extend the drinking space onto the pavement outside. about R-Bar

Just a stone's throw from the pier and right in the middle of it all, R-Bar is a spacious, relaxing place to meet at any time of day, with plenty of opportunity for people-watching. Recently taken over by Revenge, it is perfectly placed for pre-club drinking. The next R-Bar date for your diary:
