Fear at the Fountain...
review
The Fountain continued their tradition of having THE Halloween party of the season with this night of ghouls, hags and a spectacular show, The Little Pub of Horrors...
All the locals dressed up for the occasion with witches, wizards, ghosts (and a strange number of bunny boys?!), the highlight of the evening was the incredible show.
Very loosely based on Little Shop of Horrors, Suddenly Seamour was on stage in a plot that read like your worst nightmare - a tale of dentists, Haywards Heath and a blood lusting houseplant. Wonderful set and costumes and some fabulous performances - all done with the enthusiasm and sense of fun we've grown used to from this village pub with personality.
A huge thanks go out to all involved - especially Edna and Stephan who made the magnificent Audrey 2 and a lot of the costumes - a huge talent!
Sadly we had to leave before our pumpkin burst into flames - but what a start to the night!

about The Fountain Inn
|
The Fountain Inn has established itself as one of the favourite local pubs in the Crawley & Gatwick area with a truly mixed crowd of regulars - both gay and straight. In the picturesque surroundings of Handcross - a charming Sussex Village, from the outside you'd be forgiven in thinking it's just another traditional country pub. Step inside, however, and you'll think again - it's a tale of two halves. Today for The Fountain Inn: Chill Out Zone Music vids, good company .. it's time to chill after those Monday Blues!
