review
West Hill Community Hall was the perfect venue to host performances by various female artists from far and wide. Within this intimate space, all artists performed with their individual styles for the loving audience that attended.
Al Start, who has just returned from her USA tour, made sure that the evening began with a bang. Her comical approach resulted in a star performance, including such songs as Captain Rainbow, Four Grey Cats and Surrey. The audience erupted with applause at the end of Al’s set, which gracefully led onto performances from Drei, Lake Me and Rae Spoon.
All contributed to a brilliant evening full of spirit and atmosphere. Al is currently touring the UK but will be back in Brighton shortly, playing at Komedia on 23 November.
