Pumpkin Carving...
review Halloween entertainment usually consists of trick or treat or apple bobbing. It is however far too cold to go out asking strangers for sweets (and our mothers brought us up too well to do that anyway), and there's only so much apple bobbing you can do before you realise that everyone before you has dribbled into the water and made it slightly thicker than water ought to be. So the solution? Pumpkins! Lots of pumpkins! Carved in a multitude of interesting ways by people with sharp imaginations and very blunt knives (well, mostly very blunt - no major arteries were severed). And to top it all, prizes were given away for artistic by an ever-so-secret special guest. Lovely! loved it? Were you there? Did you have a great time?
