review

On Monday, the 13th of November Jubilee Library in Brighton opened an exibition of experiences of people living at the frontiers of the global HIV epidemic.

A simple idea: the participants of this project attendeded photographic workshops where they learned how to use photographic equipment. Then they took photographs of their lifes producing very powerful and meaningful images of their daily struggles, hopes, fears and experiences.

All of them - people living with HIV, men who have sex with men, and sex workers have a story to tell. Sometimes one still image can tell more than a thousand words.

The exhibition is free and is showing until 4th December 2006.
