I remember the days when I used to get home at a reasonable hour, make myself a cup of cocoa, crawl into bed and wake up refreshed and ready for a new day. The fact that the licensing laws have been relaxed and the fact that my journey home nearly always takes me past the door of Vavoom has put an end to all that.

Vavoom is always open and inside you're bound to find a welcoming face or three, and very probably a scantily clad barman to serve you - whatever the time of day or night.

My advice is to choose another route home if you really want to bed... the lure of the party through the windows is... just... too... much... aaaaaah, okay just a little g&t for the road...
