Tonight saw the birthday of Dave, the new owner of the King William (or KW4 as it is now known) up in Hampstead - and he sure knows how to throw a party! Who better to entertain the crowd than the legend that is Lola Lasagne. As Lola told the near packed crowd, this was the first time she has ever been to the 'Willie' and they loved every minute of it!
The stories and jokes were hysterical and Lola's voice seems to get better and better! If she didn't have to go to another booking, she wouldn't have been let off the stage.
Lola got Dave up on stage together with his boyfriend, Chris, as it was also his birthday and we found out that they met when one worked for another as a nude cleaner!
After Lola left the stage, the William's resident hostess, Sheila Bliege, then introduced two go-go dancers. The two guys pumped their way through numerous tracks while gyrating round the customers, back flipping, and generally getting both boys and girls rather hot under the collar!

The award-winning Lola Lasagne has long been a favourite cabaret performer in London and Brighton. Although it's obviously a drag queen's prerogative not to reveal specifics - let's just say it has been more than a decade and less than a lifetime! The next Lola Lasagne date for your diary:
