Having broken my Wintery hibernation, I made a long overdue visit back to the warm, welcoming atmosphere of Monkey - and was pleased to discover nothing had changed.

A sea of friendly faces and waves of magnificent music bobbed around me as I washed everything down with a couple of cheap lemonades and I remembered what it was I loved about this night.

Big cheers to all the Monkey crew... as ever, I'm never drinking again.
