With an army of superb DJs, plus uniformed staff and dancers, the Juicy crew had gone all out to, er, decorate Fire for an amazing Bootcamp special.

Arriving around 1am, the dancefloors were already heaving with sexy soldiers (and the rest of the troops) lapping up all the DJs had to offer. Particular highlights for me, were sets from Nik Denton and Gonzalo... oh, and the incredible 'CO2 cool downs' fired from the ceiling onto the main dancefloor.

New things kept being rolled out throughout the night. Ice pops, for instance, were dished out all round the club at one point. And a late-night PA from Camille Jones got the crowd singing along with her massive hit 'The Creeps'.

Regrettably, it's been a few months since I last made it to any of the events on offer at Fire and I noticed a lot of changes... The Lightbox is a stunning, twinkling addition to their clubbing spaces, there are new lights and effects throughout the venue and the refurbished toilets are a very welcome improvement!

A fantastic production in an ever-evolving club. An awesome night out.

Juicy, with its electro house, uplifting funky tunes, continues to be a really popular event and it attracts a friendly, varied crowd... tonight's 'Bootcamp' theme meant that loads of people arrived in their army gear.
