stairs and downstairs. Bliss has leaped onto the Brighton clubbing stage with their camp antics, housey, dancey music and a seeminly never-ending supply of cabaret and live music acts to tempt everyone into Charles Street for one big once-a-month party.
Tonight, it was the turn of 4th Ba5e which attracted a mixed crowd of Brighton's resident party people with one or two of 4th Ba5e's fan ba5e in (ooh - it's catching...). Mark, Blair, Dan, Christian and Glenn strutted their stuff on stage and went down very well (although I'm not overly sure of the wisdom of anyone other than Miss Lennox daring to cover Sweet Dreams).
Billie was on top form and quite literally exploded onto stage with a pyrotechnic intro - the smell of burning synthetic hair was quite overpowering at the front - as was the over-enthusiastic smoke machine at some point - but it all added to the fun.
Next month, watch out for the cheeky brother of Step's Lisa, Andy Scott-Lee - we're loving the promo shot of his bottom already!
