Towers of London...
review
Tonight, was a bit of departure from the usual REALBrighton outings. Those of you who recognise the lead singer, Donny, for his appearance in celebrity Big Brother, may already know what's coming...
There was a raw, sweaty and fairly aggressive crowd of people waiting for the bands appearance, many sporting worryingly familiar ‘wrestling masks’.
The band eventually made it to the stage, sunglasses, cigarettes and beers in hand for a guitar-based shouting, shirt-removing, rock session.
The band's frustration was clear as the second microphone failed and started distoring, but it didn’t slow them down. At least twice Donny stage-dived, followed closely by security. His shoe was stolen by a crafty crowd member [see photo], much to his annoyance. After all that, I’m left wondering, ‘what on earth did I sign up for?’ Looking around I heard a voice: ‘You're brave bringing that camera into the middle of this!’
All said, it was a fun night out. If you're at a festival this year and they're playing then check them out. But maybe leave your camera at home!
