Post Betty Rebels!...
review
Time to discard your paisley tie, strip off that fluorescent nylon shirt, hike up those golfing trousers and get down to the serious business of partying until dawn!
Given the lateness of the hour (Rebel is very much the Wild Fruit after party and only gets going at around half three), and given the amount of alcohol that had undoubtedly already been consumed by this late hour... it was an impressive crowd of clubbers that propped up the bars, jumped about on the dancefloor and were generally very good company indeed well into the daylight hours on Monday.
As I stumbled for the daylight, Hollie was just finishing up her set and was joined by a live MC who talked us through a few tracks and raised a few smiles - it's the first time I've heard this at a Fruity event but hope not the last. Rebel resident and local superstar DJ Dulcie Danger then took to the decks at 5am to take us bouncing through until no-one there was just no more boucing left to be done. Loving Hollie, loving Dulcie and loving Rebel!

The monthly Wild Fruit is undoubtedly one of Brighton's clubbing institutions. Always glamorous, always packed and always great music from resident DJs Pete Haywood, Neil Duffie and friends. The night is often punctuated with stage acts, muscly dancers, regular live big name PAs and guest DJs such as local superstar DJ Norman Cook... it's NEVER a dull party!
