review

Moving a little up the road and around the corner, our next stop was the very sophisticated Loft Lounge. Walls of exposed brick work, adorned with an eclectic assortment of flock hangings, were a nice, quirky touch.

Quite a smart operation, at first I wondered if we were a little underdressed. Not that anyone else seemed to notice, mind you. Particularly not the party who were celebrating with a private booking in the gorgeous, glass-fronted mezzanine at the back of the bar.

Squishy sofas and low tables around the venue offered a somewhat more comfortable experience than a lot of bars, whilst music played at just the right volume was accompanied by videos shown all round the bar.
