The WAGs May Ball...
review
The Wild Fruit Footballers, Wives and Girlfriends ball.
Fake tan and sexy soccer studs aplenty (hold me back! No, really...), fantastic tunes from the huuuugely talented DJ Seamus Haji who gave us all plenty to smile about - and superstar Fruit DJs Neil Duffie, Dulcie Danger, Kate Wildblood, Richard Jones, Freddy Thomas and DJ Rocket kept a packed house entertained until it was time to move on to Rebel at the Zap!
Tonight's party was punctuated with a couple of awe-inspiring acts at midnight from Cirque Surreal (currently performing in a big top on Preston Park) and those oh-so-homoerotic Ceaser Twins who have a month long run as part of the Brighton Festival Fringe at the big upside-down purple cow, the Udderbelly.
Never let it be said that Wild Fruit doesn't pull out the stops to give us a memorable night out! We just can't get enough!
loved it!
Wow! What an awesome night. I had such a great time! Think The Zap is perfect for Rebel, can't wait to do it all again! jonny_m, 10 May 2007 [+]
I must admit that it was a rather good Rebel! I don't think I have ever stayed right until the end and danced all night long before! twinkle_1985, 10 May 2007 [+]
It is by far the best experiance I have had in the UK so far! melbourne_boy, 10 May 2007 [+]
Was great! WWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEE! Yet again! shotmillions, 11 May 2007 [+]
Seamus Haji was just brilliant - an awesome night. I kinda think the Fruit would do better with the Zap as its main venue and just extend the night right into Rebel! jimmegee, 14 May 2007 [+]
Thanks for all your great comments.
Mmm, that would be interesting trying to get almost 1800 people into the Zap! We think it works perfectly as it is. Rebel just wouldn't be the same without Wild fruit before hand.
