36 Crazyfists...
review
36 Crazyfists are even heavier live than on record... Although there are melodic elements to their songs and some excellent metalcore breakdowns, playing live they mainly sound a bit like the noise a washing machine would make being thrown down a stairwell.
The front of the crowd was a mass of colliding, drunken metalheads - flailing and flinging each other over the barrier with such force that the next day’s trophy of bruises for participating in absolute mayhem, was ensured. Nobody could have entered that part of the crowd without expecting injury, particularly those much below 6ft in height.
Vocalist Brock Lindow doesn’t stop moving on stage. There is a certain power and energy to their music, which although requires an acquired taste to enjoy, is very cleverly put together. He bangs his head, stomps and leaps his way around the stage, pausing only momentarily to unleash his biggest roars onto his clasped microphone, whilst he bends towards the ground.
36 Crazyfists produced a night of brutal music for a brutal crowd. It was extremely loud and intense, and extremely humid. By the end of the set everyone was walking out dripping in each other's sweat. Perhaps not the kind of gig that most nice girls would enjoy.

about Concorde 2

Okay, so you may have to walk a bit to reach it... but that just makes it that little bit more exclusive doesn't it! Located along Madeira Drive, the Concorde 2 is a sizeable venue with a huge variety of clubnights and bands on each month. Some top names, some great festivals, World Music... you name it. If you can't find something to pique your interest then you might as well pack your bags and head for Eastbourne... The next Concorde 2 date for your diary:
