The first of the Bank Holiday specials at the Honeyclub... tonight was the rather special treat of Paul Oakenfold - and the name certainly drew a crowd! The dancefloor was rammed from very early on, with warm-up sets from Nat Monday and Mark Eteson setting the tone for the night.

By the time Oakey, sporting his latest hairdo, took to the decks the floor was heaving. What followed was a reminder as to why the man has been able to build such a reputation for himself. A superb, high tempo, driving set with just the right mix of tunes for the night and peaking with Southern Sun - the crowd erupted and my ears still hurt!

What a superb night... bring on the next bank holiday!
