Bonde De Role...
review
Brazil's second best musical export, after current favourites CSS of course, let all hell loose in Pressure Point.
The onstage relationship bounces between the trio full of energy, just like their music. In places Le Tigre style vocals can be picked out amongst the heavy beats and samples in songs such as ‘melo do tabaco’ and ‘solta o frango’.
Energetic throughout their set, easily encouraged the majority of the crowd to cash in on the offering of a second helping in the form of an afterparty performance in Komedia later. This was however cancelled at the last minute for reasons ‘unknown’ and left hungry Bonde do Role fans begging for more.
The future of the band is more than promising with a wide range of gigs already pencilled into their diaries right through until mid September.
