Kate Nash...
review
Lilly Allen’s pal Kate Nash brought her very own version of quick witted word plays and style to the seaside tonight.
‘Dancing at discos eating cheese on toast’ is where it’s at in Kate’s world.
Cutely confident and self aware her no nonsense character shone through not only during her songs but also in between. The ability to chat with the crowd in and amongst performing is a natural ability that brings the crowd even closer to her. Playing such a small venue as Pressure Point it was obvious that it would be a squeeze to get in, leaving many fans stranded well past St. Peters Church. This however would most likely have happened at any venue she played over the course of the Festival as her ever growing fan base is spreading like wild fire.
Already having a whole host of tour dates lined up throughout summer, those of you unlucky enough to catch her at such an intimate venue as this weekend, will most definitely get the chance again somewhere soon.
