The sniffing of bottoms, the dainty struts across the park, the judging of looks, barking individuals, camp outfits and some surreptitious squatting in the bushes - it can only mean one thing.... it's Pride... and on this occasion it's the Dog Show!
Hundreds of dogs dragged their owners out into the first decent weather of this Summer for what is now firmly on the Canine Calendar.
Held under Kennel Club Rules, there were professional pedigree classes, and also novelty classes, like the show's highlight for many; the Fancy Dress Competition.
The show was sponsored by Coastway Veterinary Group and Denes Natural Pet Care and there were stalls from doggie-related companies such as Paws Fur Thought, Bark Busters, Reg & Ruby Pet Accessories, Natural Pet Choice, Barkleys Dog Emporium, PDSA, Dog's Trust, Paw Paw, Hilary's, Lazy Pets and Doggie Fashion.
A huge thanks to the Pride team for putting this wonderful afternoon on! Here's to next year.
loved it!
Was such a great day and lovely to do something in the community for Pride. Can't wait for next year! Where's the pictures of my Bruiser?
