Every Tuesday night during the summer in Sitges you can catch a free bus over to l'Atlantida for a Gay Beach Party (GBP)! Now in its sixth season, it's easy to see why it continues to be popular - we were actually surprised that it wasn't a bit busier.

The venue is entirely open air, with plenty of lighting, smoke and a beefy sound system and live entertainment in the form of a bunch of muscly strippers. Watching pumped up straight men get their tools out for the lads isn't necessarily to everyone's taste - although I didn't see too many people averting their eyes.

It's very, very cool to be dancing away as the sun begins to rise... and if you get fed up of dancing then stepping to the side of the dancefloor you can stand at the railings and watch the waves crashing in below you. Gorgeous!

As seems to be par for the course this holiday, we were amongst the last people to leave the venue and although we probably shouldn't have done it, a (well supervised) dip in the sea proved a very refreshing end to the night!
