Shhhh! We're having a Secret Disco!...
review
I must say that R-Bar is looking very glam these days, and what better way to experience it than at the chilled-out official launch of Secret Disco - an album that Kate Wildblood and Queen Jo have been putting together. We've had our hands on a preview copy of the album for a while and we loved every minute of it, but those gathered for the launch didn't have to take our word for it. Free samplers were handed out to punters, and Kate & Jo were on the decks giving us a bit of Secret Disco live to give us a taste of it!
There's so much choice on a Thursday evening, and R-Bar has to be high on the list for anyone looking for a more relaxed, chilled evening of great music in fabulous surroundings!

Private Party 2 Launched
...and Polly says:
R-Bar was host to Dj's Kate Wildblood and HRH Queen Jo's new CD launch tonight. I got my copy of their new CD which is packed full of chilled out dance tunes and it really is rather good. With help from Djs such as Mr Haywood, they have compiled two CDs of aural pleasure including tracks such as Solu music ft. Kimblee's Fade and Heather Nova's Aquamarine it really is a CD worth owning!
R-Bar was brimming with eager pre-clubbers who were all enjoying the new(ish) Thursday night out there. The atmosphere was brilliant and I'm already looking forward to the next CD!
The photos continue over at Revenge where the party continued well into the early hours.

about R-Bar

Just a stone's throw from the pier and right in the middle of it all, R-Bar is a spacious, relaxing place to meet at any time of day, with plenty of opportunity for people-watching. Recently taken over by Revenge, it is perfectly placed for pre-club drinking. The next R-Bar date for your diary:

about Queen Josephine

If there was such a thing as a run-of-the-mill queen then Queen Josephine wouldn't be one... Popular with both the boys and the girls (can one DJ have more groupies?), she has residencies at Mad Cow, Passion, Envy, Wet Pussy, Decent, Bring It On, Shameless Hussies and the Candy Bar. A girl that is rapidly gaining the respect of her deck-mates and the adoration of her crowds!
