Ooh, a fetish club to review. What do I wear? After sifting through the contents of my boyfriend's surprisingly well stocked dressing-up box, I plump for the leather harness and PVC shorts before moseying on down to Storm. Feeling a little nervous, and looking a bit like an old shire horse in my pervy get-up, I venture into the club and find an array of very cheeky chaps, boots you could wade across to France in and a selection of accessories that Claire would never stock.

Having popped along to the infamous Pants Party, I'm in a position to tell you that this new night has a harder edge. That being said, upstairs it was rather strange earwigging conversations to find out that the new IKEA catalogue was out and that Waitrose are stocking some rather nice wine... from someone clutching a cat-o-nine tails with ANTHRAX tattoed on his knuckles.

Downstairs was rather different. The loos were, what can only be described as, engaged for a large portion of the evening and I ended up having to take a leak in the ladies washbasin (sorry Peter...). Elsewhere there were fumblings and moanings and one master was dishing out a bit of punishment with what looked like a leather J-cloth. The dance floor wasn't particularly busy (it was empty), but the DJ was throwing out some pretty good tunes. Half the dancefloor was curtained off to provide a level of modesty for the more intimate moments, although I steered clear - 1) the boyf was with me; and 2) the last time I ventured into an enclosure such as this, I caught my foot in the curtains and managed to pull them off the ceiling...I wasn't particularly popular with the revealed throng in various stages of undress...

Obviously, with all this naughtiness going on, poking a camera at the punters and asking for one for REALBrighton.com wasn't particularly easy. The leather scene is all well and good, but after a while my jockstrap was pinching, my PVC shorts chaffing and my harness was lifting and separating in a rather alarming and frankly unflattering way - the evening was not for a comforting drink in the bar. However, it opened my eyes to the possibilities of a raunchy night out and was quite good fun. Don't knock it until you try it, I always say, and this is no exception.

Having only taken a few shots (there's a joke in there somewhere) and Storm closing at 12.30, we decided to pop round the corner to Revenge. Luckily, by this time, the lager had kicked in and I had completely forgotten what I was wearing, much to the wide-eyed amusement of the various disco-bunnies and their girlie friends twirling around to Kylie. Still, managed to get a few more pictures at least!
