2007 Parade Setup...
review
The Friday night of Pride Weekend may be party, party, party for most people, but those involved with the parade have an early start ahead of them on Saturday morning!
This year, given the shorter route (unfortunately necessary because of road works) and the slightly lower number of floats in the parade - the start time was delayed until 11:30am - giving people a little extra time to catch up with rest before heading to the beach.
The day was glorious! Bright clear blue skies, but not nasty hot... just right - although I'm guessing those in costume may have wished for a little cloud cover by the time we reached the park!
The costumes and floats this year were truly fabulous... surely one of the most creative Brighton Pride parades ever.
