Queens Arms proved her status as undisputed queen of the cabaret bars at the Street Party, where in addition to the crowds flocking to the outside bars, party-goers were queuing to get inside to sample the entertainment on offer.
Betty Swollocks kept the karaoke pace going at speed as punters became stars of stage and screen with the nifty new video installation.
The absolute star of Brighton Pride, Lola Lasagne, managed to squeeze back into her stilletoes and put on a stonking cabaret show. Proving she was up to minute with Pride's news, she also read out several postings on REALBrighton from various protesting protestors at yesterday's parade. Of course, as only Lola can, it took just a carefully-timed arched eyebrow to convey more than any words ever could.
Queens Arms Landlord, Andy Feest, made a special presentation to Lola for all her hard work in organising the Cabaret Tent and her endless support of Pride over the years. The crowd erupted into chants of 'Lola, Lola' showing just how much she's won the hearts of everyone at Pride
