The launch night of The Big Weekend of Manchester Pride saw the final of the Kings & Queens Competition. Drag Kings and Drag Queens from bars around Canal Street and The Gay Village battled it out for the title. The judging panel included the Chair of Pride and there was much deliberation.

Eventually, the third and second place went to View and The Rembrandt, before the King & Queen of Vanilla were crowned the winners - they'll be leading the Parade on Saturday!

loved it!

After being on duty as a volunteer I decided to go and watch the Drag Queen and King competition. The drag queen hosting it saw me and persuaded me to enter for it and I had a great time being a contestant.
