Manchester Pride Main Stage 2007...
review
This year's Manchester Pride festival saw some fantastic acts take to the main stage!
Friday kicked off with 80s favourite Belinda Carlilse singing her hits, followed by two DJ sets from the gorgeous former Big Brother winner Kate Lawler.
Saturday featured various DJ sets, keeping us dancing until the early hours.
Sunday brought us what proved to be this years must-see, much anticipated performance. The Gossip filled the main stage arena and surrounding area like nothing before! Beth Ditto and the boys put on a crowd pleasing, energetic performance during their 50 min set.
Other great acts on Sunday included Axegirl and Geek Girl.
On Monday Pop Idol runner up Gareth Gates took to the stage to perform tracks old and new, followed by an amazing vocal performance from a very heavily pregnant Angie Brown, the traditional closing act - and what a close it was!
Acts, press and the occasional groupie were invited to make use of the fabulous facilities at the Princess on Portland and the Conference on Portland centre below. REALManchester managed to sneak in and grab a couple of photos of Beth being interviewed by Radio One!

The next Manchester Pride date for your diary:
Saturday, 12th July - Sunday, 12th October
