Stick It On!...
review
Hah! You'd be right in thinking that Komedia is now a venue for comedy, theatre and live music... and, well, Stick It On probably fits into all of these categories at once.
The idea is simple enough... you log onto the Stick It On website and book yourself a 15 minute slot, you turn up with your records/CDs/instruments/friends (delete where applicable) and take to the stage at your allotted time... technicians are on hand to help you out if you've never been put in charge of a pair of record decks and 500 people before... and the audience enjoys the ride as everyone from rank amateurs to polished professionals do their thing. Tonight we had hen night party DJs, to rappers to full bands all getting up there for their 15 minutes of fame!
A really unusual, unpredictable, great night out... as long as you've got a good sense of humour and you're prepared to take the rough with the smooth of course!
