Sparkling Birthday...
review
David (aka Davina Sparkle) put on the razzle dazzle for his [mumble]-eth birthday party.
As you might expect from someone who has taken the Brighton cabaret circuit by storm over the past year, the wonderful R-Bar and brand-new Beach House (upstairs restaurant) was packed with the local great and good.
The ever-popular Drag With No Name put on an astonishing performance during the afternoon, after which the Beach House showed off it's wares with a gorgeous buffet.
Later, Brighton cabaret scene stars took to the stage in a party-piece extravaganza, with Jamie Watson, Boy George Experience (as himself) and Jennie Castelle included in the lineup of vocalists on stage.

Just a stone's throw from the pier and right in the middle of it all, R-Bar is a spacious, relaxing place to meet at any time of day, with plenty of opportunity for people-watching. Recently taken over by Revenge, it is perfectly placed for pre-club drinking. The next R-Bar date for your diary:
