Charles Street serves up some of Brighton's best value, quality grub - and tonight REALBrighton was included in a list of hungry press people who were invited along to sample the new Winter Menu.
Although I didn't get to sample every dish that was served up (being the photographer has a distinct disadvantage when it comes to fighting for a taster!) I did get to tuck into a fair number of dishes, and was suitably impressed...
The full menu is now online for you to peruse - and given the astoundingly good value-for-money that the dishes offer, I'd be very surprised if you weren't as tempted as me to start eating out a lot more often.
Personal favourites from the menu included the salsa chicken tagliatelle (yummy... and spicy!), the fishcakes, the butternut squash risotto (a veggie delight!) and to top it all off the absolutely gorgeously delicious (I could squeeze a few more adjectives in here, but I think you get the point) apple & blackberry flapjack crumble... which is quite simply devine!
