A Betty Boo Birthday!...
review
Charles Street is Seven! Bloody hell! That means I must be... seven years older than when I was there to photograph the opening night! Yikes!
Tonight they marked the occasion in style with a huge WKD blue bucking bronco bottle (try saying that after a couple) for people to straddle, ice sculptures for people to lick (!), live DJs on both floors and - the highlight of the night - a live performance from the one and only Betty Boo. And yes it's true... Betty Boo did the Do! And there's nothing you can do... etc etc!
If you fancy a little trip down memory lane then you might be interested to see that REALBrighton was there with a camera on the opening night of Charles Street and Pool as it was called - way back in December 2000...
