The Amsterdam Bar & Bistro provided the perfect New Year's Eve party for those who wanted something a little more civilised with a buffet and dancing courtesy of DJ Billie Davie behind the decks. A little bird tells me it's going to be an exciting year ahead for this great seafront bar, terrace and bistro! Watch this space!
loved it!
As you may know over the festive period The Amsterdam used it's Christmas party on the 22nd of December 2008 to raise money for THT and our New Years Eve Party to raise money for ADCAF (Abandoned & destitute children's appeal fund) which is the Amsterdam Hotels owners personal charity in India and Nepal.
The Christmas Party on the 22nd of December was hosted by Ms Joan Bond and Spice. The total raised at the event was £163.90 which has all gone to THT.
The New Years Eve Party at The Amsterdam raised £400 which was collected from the tickets sold on the night and in advance of the event. All of this money raised has gone to ADCAF which is a very worthy cause.
We have several more events planned in the very near future and The Amsterdam remains committed to raising money for our local charities and our in house charities. We would like to thank all of the local businesses, guests and customers who gave so generously over the festive period.
Thanks
Ben Davie
