Okay, it’s 2008, and we have all pretty much rinsed our pockets of all money over Christmas and New Year but if you’re anything like me, you were rummaging under the sofa and searching high and low for every last penny you had, for the one reason of heading to Bliss down at Charles Street.
Bliss has really become a night that myself and the rest of Brighton look forward to getting down to every month, with a little extra this time. ‘The Revolution’ promised us more glam, more glitz and even more surprises; and as ever - they most certainly kept to their word.
Our fabulous host Billie Lewis invited us all to a Bliss with a twist but with its usual antics including Date tag, drinks offers and of course, the free party giveaways. Miss Connie Conway even made an appearance (I’m sure she is fast becoming the most photographed drag queen on REALBrighton!) Resident DJs Tony Armstrong (Limelights, GAY, Benjy’s) and Lil Alex (Passion, Religion, Charles St) were out to guarantee that we had some of the best tribal and funky house anthems throughout the night.
If you were still tucked up in bed recovering from new year then I'm afraid you missed out!
