Much as you might hate to admit it - the smiles on the faces of this X-Factor duet are highly infectious.
Sean and Sarah, the brother and sister that make up Same Difference, seemed genuinely taken aback by the excitable crowd that had gathered at Revenge tonight. There is no getting away from it... whether or not you find these two people slightly irritating for being so happy all the time - they have captured the imagination of a huge chunk of the TV-watching country.
Grabbing a few minutes with them in the dressing room (as you do) it became instantly apparent that they are genuinely decent people - and this is something that obviously shines through very clearly when they're on stage.
They managed to squeeze onto stage - with security having to fight to hold back the screaming crowd - and gave Brighton its very own little frenzied slice of the X-Factor. As well as favourites such as covers of Scissor Sister's "Don't Feel Like Dancing" and paying homage to Steps with "Tragedy", they also announced that Simon Cowell had just signed them (big cheers from the crowd), and proceeded to sing us their new single, "Flying" from High School Musical.
It was difficult not to leave with a smile on your face and a little bounce in your step... Simon Cowell may think they're annoying - but he's a shrewd businessman... these two will be around for a while longer yet.
