The return of the Inter-Uni Pubcrawl!...
review
After the success of last year's Inter-University pub crawl, they'd have been silly not to try another one. And this one was not only bigger, it was better!
Organised mainly by Sussex LGBT society, there were roughly 45 Universities invited this year. I'm not sure how many turned up but there were close to 600 people taking part on the crawl around Brighton's legendary gay scene.
Under strict instructions - the pubcrawl began promptly at 7pm. Students had been split up into groups of around 30 and given two or three stewards to usher them around the various pubs and bars and make sure no one strayed. The pubs and bars were all really accommodating and had some very good drinks deals on. In a change from last year, the crawl ended up at Revenge giving us much more room... even so the venue apparently hit capacity at around 1:30am!
A big thanks to all those involved in organising this massive event, it really takes a lot of effort and is great for LGBT students to come together from all over the country.
