What's special about the Marine? Well if you don't already know then you can't have stopped by. It's one of Brighton's smaller traditional pubs and it always has a warm, attitude-free, friendly and welcoming atmosphere - making it a little haven of calm in the centre of Brighton's gay village. We love!

about Marine Tavern

The Marine Tavern is a small and cosy traditional pub (remember those?), where the bar staff are friendly and so are the customers. Predominantly gay men prop up the bar while camp music plays without intruding into conversation. With a pub quiz every week and various fundraising activities on the odd occasion, this establishment is how a gay pub should be - free from attitude and part of the comm...
