There's no question that Ape Drape Escape are, as their name might suggest, slightly mad. When we turned up at Hector's House to catch a few songs we weren't quite sure what was going on... it seemed that half the audience were on the stage drinking beer and dancing, and half the band were out amongst their amused fans, strutting their guitars and screaming down their mics. Bands that don't take themselves too seriously are by far our favourites... so Ape Great Escape gets a thumbs up for being a whole lot of fun and putting smiles on our faces!

I've given up trying to describe what bands sound like - after all, that's what MySpace was invented for, surely?
