We thought Eugene McGuinness was without a doubt a cut above the average singer-songwriter, and a great choice to kick off the proceedings at Digital tonight. At just (around) 22 years old he looked a bit like a lost puppy all on his own with a guitar, but his songs were anything but timid efforts.

The crowd were into it and so will you be. Listen to his stuff at the obligatory MySpace page, and we'll see you at his next gig!
