One of the great things about festivals is that you often find yourself at a gig that, for one reason or another, you didn't expect to be at. This was one of them. Sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose.

It probably took the gathered punters about quarter of an hour to really start getting into Broken Records - but by the end they had the majority of the dancefloor in front of them dancing, waving and whooping - which is testament to some really great songs.

To pick out one song... well we loved "The Good Reason", which is - so we were told - their new EP the one we were encouraged to buy so they could afford the petrol back to Scotland!

In short... Arcade Fire but a bit more beardy.
