Cage The Elephant...
review
Every once in a while you get that feeling that you're witnessing something very special...
Cage the Elephant have just entered the stage to face hoards of flashing cameras, and burst into an instrumental - tho singer Matt Shultz can't quite stop himself from miming some fitting lyric into the mic (like the new haircut by the way!)
Straight into "Peace for the Wicked" and the electricity coming from the stage nearly knocks you off your feet. There's something about Matt that makes you imagine some invisible reigns holding him back as he teeters on the front of the stage but you know there's no holding this lot back.
The new single "In One Ear" is fab but don't make the mistake of pigeonholing them... They will surprise you! If you like real Rock'n'Roll, real Blues and real then Punk you'll love'em... They're undeniably brilliant!
Just can't praise them enough... The best gig of the festival ...and that's saying something!
