Billiam at LolliCOP!...
review
Hosting a cops and robbers themed night to mark the International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO), Revenge threw open its doors for a very special LolliCOP party.
With Sussex Police on hand to reinforce their tough stance on homophobia and raise awareness of their LGBT-friendly services, tonight also saw a live PA from hot Girls Aloud support act, Billiam. Performing songs including 'My Generation', the boys took the crowd by storm and went down a treat.
In between the girls and the boys, Stewart T chucked out the tunes - including several cheesy requests - and provided plenty of party atmosphere. Upstairs, Tony B made a welcome return launching Housexual - a blend of driving, uplifting electro house.

If Brighton is widely regarded as the gay capital of the UK, then Revenge is its Big Gay Cathedral. A whopping two floors of a club, giving you a choice of music music, decor and people. And with both floors being so big you can stand and chat by the bar without having to scream at each other over the music. Sitting in the windows upstairs you can while away your time looking out over the Pier or ... The next Revenge date for your diary:

It's difficult to envisage in the relatively open society in which we live in the UK, Europe and Australia, that there are an astonishing 77 countries who punish women, men and children because of their sexuality. But then, it was only in 1990 that the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from their list of mental disorders. IDAHO - International Day Against Homophobia - exists to provoke action to end Homophobia. A number of events are planned for 17th May 2007, International Day Against Homophobia, around the world.
