review

Lucy (and the caterpillar) sings with a real sense of optimism throughout her songs, lacing prickly and dreamy melodies with a cute, almost child-like voice.

Stand out songs such as Kings Cross, or the doe-eyed Alcoholic Dreams leave Lucy’s listeners with a few butterflies in their tummies and a smile on their faces, as her calming voice takes hold of their senses.

Playing at The Unitarian Church with a small audience, Lucy’s guitar swaying is endearing, as is her polite and quirky presense. And she even has her very own vintage shop!
