New food... new art!...
review
REALBrighton had the pleasure of attending a little double launch evening this week... as well as a new food menu, the evening marked the first showing of Melita Borrow's gorgeous pen-and-ink prints.
The night was a first chance to sample some of the treats on the Aquarium's new food menu - freshly prepared with a Latino twist in their kitchens by new chefs Philippe and Luis.
It was also a first chance to see some rather fabulous artwork... Six limited edition, signed prints are on show - very cool pieces with a comical view of Brighton's gay scene and nightlife. This is a pre-exhibition for a larger show to go on display at the Brighton Fishing Quarter Gallery on the seafront from 31st of July to the 11th of August. Cards of the prints are also on sale at the Aquarium and at Cardome, and a percentage of the proceeds from any prints sold from this show on the Aquarium's walls will go to Pride in Brighton & Hove.

about The Aquarium Theatre Bar
|
The Aquarium Theatre Bar is the new luvvie-ly guise of one of Brighton's oldest gay-friendly venues - set back from the seafront and just a stiletto's throw away from the Pier. The bar has had a recent facelift with décor that reflects its traditional roots but with a fresh, contemporary finish. You'll find the friendly and professional management team on hand to ensure a warm welcome and a music policy which, as you might expect from the theatrical theming, offers something for everyone - from musicals, to rat pack through to the artists of today.
