Another year another batch of potentials and although they didn’t quite make a cinquette the show didn’t lack in energy what it did in participants. With Tina Turner impressions, strip teases and important questions concerning appendage the night was as spirited as any other, hosted by Andy of the Queens Arms the contestants were put through their paces with the odd bit of abuse thrown at them from Betty Swallock’s, when she was awake.

In the end our lovely young winner, soon to be Brightonian took the hundred pounds, this I believe was mainly due to his butter wouldn’t melt Essex accent and almost unnatural flexibility. His promise was to buy everyone else a drink with his winnings but I don’t know if it was just me but I certainly didn’t get my vodka and coke…
