Oooh, they're getting rather good, aren't they? Every time I'm sent to photograph the B&H(a)GMC ("yes, we're the Brighton and Hove Gay Men's Chorus, Ac-tu-ally...") they've got a few new tricks up their sleeves and they're sounding ever better. Another night of top entertainment in the packed out St Andrew's Church hosted by darling of Brighton cabaret scene, David Raven in a sparkly bow-tie.
Tonight's show included favourites such as 'Let the River Run' and 'Somewhere', as well as showstoppers like "The Rhythm of Life" and a large slice of the evening devoted to tunes from Les Miserables.
The boys were joined by the South Wales Gay Men's Chorus tonight as well - their first public performance, and have invited the BH(a)GMC to perform with them in Cardiff in September... a gay boy's choir exchange... who'd have thought it!
Congratulations to John, Peter and Jason on a great evening of song that doesn't take itself too seriously!
