Once again, Lola was especially invited to meet and greet at the Brighton Marina ASDA on the Friday before the big weekend.
An assorted arrange of gay men and lesbians (and quite a few of those our heterosexual friends as well) were stocking up for a non-stop weekend party.
With Lola in charge of the microphone, we were treated to her in-depth knowledge of the special offers to be had, with particular mention of the hot chicken counter and the array of hot baps in fresh from the bakery, to giggles breaking out in various parts of the store. There were also frantic struggles breaking out at the Taramosalata chiller cabinet and the Vodka aisle as those essential items were deposited in trolleys.
With her own particular brand of charm, Lola also expertly handled customer enquiries, including whether her dress was available for the George at ASDA department upstairs!
Great fun and a chance to get the groceries in too.
