Being slightly on the beardy side myself, I easily infiltrated the lair of the chunky funky hairy chaps: the Bearea / Star Inn. Friendly as ever, there was a lot a mutual pawing, hugging and general all round loving going on.

The boys certainly have that area well planned: get a beer from the bar, mess about in the dance tent, end up at the toilet. All with a large outside space in which to get to grips with friends old and new.

On a number of occasions I had to allow an especially large bear access under my vest in return for a photograph – the things I do for REALBrighton!
